As of August 27th 2020 the dealers were given orders to cut their deck in half like they do for online casinos. Pen used to be 1.5-2decks but since then they only can now do 4 decks on an 8deck game.
As of now there is no difference playing online and in house. It' over for counting there folks.
Someone who works for LotoQuebec must of been watching this subreddit and that is now in effect for all casinos. Or they took into count that i can count to myself because the mask and plexiglass hide my voice and mouth when saying the count.
Highly advise you to turn away from this place if you want to count here.

Back in the states, a visit to a big destination casino means free cocktails and comped visits to the disco while you gamble. Can we expect the same here? We're not interested in anything drug or sex related, we just want to wander around and get drunk and maybe gamble a little bit while we do it.

I usually go to Ontario casinos and in the USA, I've been to Montreal casino once last year for a short period of time. I have a question, everywhere else handpay can be paid in cash but I've noticed in Montreal casino they'd take persons name and give a cheque. Is that the only option or they can give cash if you ask them?

Trying to figure out what i'll be doing today. My plan is to park at the Casino (since apparently parking there is free, and i was stunned that where i parked yesterday was $20 for 5 hours..) and then apparently there's a free shuttle that will take you from the casino to the metro station. i tried to find where this was online but all i could find was shuttles that went outside of Montreal, and route 777 that was a paid for bus that brought you back and forth.
could anyone shed some light into this? Montreal has confused me to hell and i hate driving around simply because of all the traffic. most of the time it's faster to just walk.

A little bit about myself :
My name is Joel and i'm 21 years old. I have big ambitions in life and a passion for all games in general but mostly poker right now, i have been fending for myself since I've been around sixteen as the owner of a business that's gaming related. (Carries in video games such as World of Warcraft & League of Legends) I have been playing Poker for around 1.5 years or so studying & watching videos daily putting in insane amount of hours. I'd like to think i'm a smart individual that adapts quickly and i have shown to be a winning poker player in the recent past. It was also confirmed by other individuals that were objective. (Not my friends basically) Having bills to pay and business dying down i can't currently allocate a bankroll specifically for Poker as of right now which brings me here to ask for a Staking deal.
I would be playing live poker @ Playground Poker Club & Montreal's Casino both located close to where i currently reside. Having played video games professionally in the past my mental stamina is quite good and i can put in tons of hours without any issues. (8-16 hours 5 to 7 days a week) I play both Cash Games & Tournaments however i am open to playing only one of the two if that's what you'd like me to do and i will do my best to accommodate any demands you may have. Give you daily updates and keep track of everything that is won/lost in a spreadsheet that you have access to etc.

Hi, are there any poker rooms open in Montreal? Casino de Montreal closed the poker when they reopen in August and Playground didn't update anything on the website. Are there any other cash games going on in the city?

Has anyone here played much at Playground Poker club in Montreal, Quebec (Canada) and has some feedback on the place? Ive almost exclusively played online for a few years and looking to get into some live MTTs. Any comments on special tournament series or regular weekly schedule? Ive heard it`s generally a better place to play then Montreal Casino. Cheers for any feedback

I am 42 years old male. Last year I ran Montreal half marathon in 1h55 and another smaller event in 1h43.
This year my I ran more than last year, and much more hills. According to Strava, 4 week average is 35.8km/22mi. I tried to have at least one 17k/11mi run every week.
On the morning of the race the weather was perfect, it was 14C/57F, sunny and without lot of wind. As I live close to finish and close to start, I just walked with a friend across Jacques Cartier bridge to the start - it took around 40 minutes.
I started from 2nd corral. Heart rate BEFORE start was 118. For the first kilometer and half I ran with a friend, and then we split as he was running a marathon, so our target paces were different.
My intention was to use Garmin's Virtual Racer to pace myself, setting target pace to 4:50/km. In the first few kilometers I had to pay attention to run at my pace, and not to follow other people, who were running slightly faster. Once passed 5km mark, my speed settled up in a nice rhythm and I felt really good. I took water twice at refreshment stations, but very small quantities - due to low temperature I didn't sweat a lot.
Run on the Formula 1 track and by Montreal Casino and was uneventful. Once when we entered Montreal's Old Port, we started to run on slightly uneven surface and also started a series of short climbs. While none of these climbs is long or steep, them being after 17th kilometer makes it harder.
During entire race I ran a little bit faster than target 4:50/km. As I didn't want to play with the watch during the run, I tried to calculate mentally how much time I gained. At the end of race Garmin claimed that I am 580 m ahead, that would correspond to around 2.5 minutes.
I slowed down slightly on the climb on 19km, and after it accelerated for the last 1.5km.
I arrived to finish relatively fresh, took medal and food and went to cheer other runners for a while.
My real goal was to arrive in less than 1:43:01 that was my PR, I have set Garmin to 1:42 and I have arrived in 1:40:24.
Race was well organized. Refreshment station were well organized and music didn't bother me. I am looking forward for next year's race.
tldr; Weather was nice, I prepared better than last year, it was nice run.

Over the course of the past few months I had grown increasingly interested in Psychs, which I had managed to steer away from about 3-4 years ago after being a pretty heavy user. Basically was now dosing Shrooms (my drug of choice) every week at least once and on any occasion. Ironically enough started smoking ciggies again, shrooms had made me quit smoking 4 years ago.
Saturday 1 : I recently met a couple, Ad and Am, which as experienced drug users led me to try acid. I managed to convince a friend, Ism, into trying it as well. I ordered some 1P-LSD online and, long story short, it was a major disappointment. Ad and Am kept telling us it was the bomb and the stuff is great, me and Ism both dose 200mg and don’t feel shit. Literally. Yours truly has a huge penchant for partying and tripping and was left unsatisfied.
So, I decide to take my car and head out to a local bar where I basically know everyone. Crowd is majorly small-time thugs and sluts, but I always manage to have a good time. At any rate, the owner (major coke user) wants to bone a chick in the bar and ends up kicking us all out (we know the dude and it doesn’t even come as a surprise). All of us, around 10 people, keep chilling and drinking in the freaking cold November rain in front of the bar and some chick I know tells me it’s her birthday and she’s feeling down we can’t have a good night. Drunk out of my mind, I blurt out : ‘’ Everybody follow my car, were going to La Casa’’.
My dad owns this HUGE house on the waterside of Montreal’s Fleuve St Laurent and he was in France at the time, so we had the place to ourselves. Turns out all the chicks that were coming were strippers in school girl’s skirt and none of them were wearing panties. First thing I know I get offered some MDMA (I was craving a high since the LSD let down) and I just dose 2 capsules (fuck testing, right?). I go back into my kitchen to see 2 naked chicks proning in doggystyle on my counter and yelling : ‘’everybody do Yayo on our butts’’. Yours truly can’t resist the urge to smack both asses so hard all the dope goes flying in the air like flour with Aunt Jemima. I get yelled at by the guys but don’t even give the slightest fuck, I’m flying on this Molly. This wacky black guy even tries to put his finger into one of the chick’s butt, gets a female version of falcon punch straight to the nose, blacks out. We basically party non stop from 5 am to 3 pm, even going to the Condo pool I have access to (get kicked out for the chicks being topless after 5 minutes). When going back to my place I end up entering the bathroom where 2 chicks are undressing from pool clothes, I just pull my pants down and they start masturbating me, b e s t t i m e e v e r. Thing is my dad decides to fly home early and I basically have to kick everybody out. I’m so high on Molly I clean the whole place up in 30 minutes with my teeth grinding like a bunch of kids in a rave. Still, good times.
Monday : I start craving. Not the drugs or anything, but the party itself. I start ringing everybody on my phone announcing round 2 next Saturday.
Tuesday : I have a few friends over and end up finding some leftover Molly in my pants that went through the freaking washing machine. The capsules have basically melted into the bag but it still seems unopened, me and my #1 bro Lu (which was absent from the first party) dip it into some water, drink this shit and go to the Montreal Casino at freaking 8 am on Wednesday morning. Needless to say I never got sleep. Called off from work. I’m starting to feel like I’m overdoing it, but what the hell.
Friday : Drunk out of mind at downtown club, few people over to smoke some blunts, sleep the whole day afterwards.
Saturday 2 : 4 PM : I’m starting to realise I basically rang 40 people on Monday to come over and party at my place (Dad went back to France). As the dumbass I am, I invited the sketchy people I had over on the last Saturday along with my long time friends. They don’t know one another.
7:30 PM : Me, Ism and Da are phoning all our plugs to get the dope for the party ready. After ringing for about an hour we finally find a plug in the West side which sells us 100$ of black MDMA crystals and 70$ (15g) of Shrooms. We go pick up the stuff, the vibe is great. This gon be a good night.
9:00 PM : People start arriving, the party's picking up. This house is amazing. There’s a party upstairs, on the main floor and in the basement.
10:00 PM : Ad and Am arrive and start dosing street LSD and passing out tabs. Am begins cooking some Shroom tea for everybody, I dose about 100mg of the MDMA crystals. I’m high as fuck. One minute I’m in some very deep, relaxed discussions with friends, next thing I know I’m basically screaming rapping about my life to a huge crowd in my kitchen. Wtf.
12:00 AM : L pulls up. There’s some major beef between L and Da. Me and Lu are calmly telling him he unfortunately can’t come in as we have enough on our plate already. Da, high out of his mind, picks up my dad’s air rifle and aims at L’s head. Lu immediately jumps him, headlocks him and gives me the gun, which I go hide to the best of my ability. L leaves.
1:00 AM : Chilling upstairs with Am, Al and Ca. We start hearing some yelling in the kitchen downstairs. I rush down only to see Ad armlocking Da. Someone’s holding a huge kitchen knife and tells me Da was threatening people with it. Ad thinks he was about to jack Lu. We kick him out, he starts crying and asking why we’re being so mean to him. Fuck that junkie, douche has pushed everyone over the edge.
3 AM : Party starts to quiet down as alot of people have left. The vibe isn't so great anymore and as expected, most of the people still there are the low lifes I had over one week ago. My good bud Al is about to leave with his girl and tells me : ‘’12, you should kick out all these fools, nothing good is going to come out of this’’. As the know it all mofo I am, I disregard his advice and keep chilling.
4 AM : Me and Lu are basically holding everyone down as I’m getting hella tired. ET pulls up, I give him a huge bump of Molly and he heads out.
4:15 AM : ET rushes back inside yelling Da stole his Iphone. We start telling him Da left a while ago and that can’t have happened. He screams for us to all come downstairs ASAP. I go downstairs only to see Da’s shoes and coat, mofo came back in while everyone was upstairs. ET, who’s basically my neighbor, tells us he found Da on his couch downstairs when he got back home, had kicked him out and realised afterwards his Iphone was missing. He runs to the basement, where Da’s sleeping. Dropdown elbow to the face of Da. The two start a massive brawl in my basement, everybody’s screaming, I don’t know what the fuck to do. Big J (huge mofo), thinking he’s gonna handle them, headlocks both. Wrong fucken move. The 3 of them start wrestling and smash one of my dad’s favorite posters : a Hab’s player’s signed jacket in a wood and glass frame. I’ve had enough and tell everyone to get the fuck out. Me and Lu tell them to go do their thing in the street, I don’t want anything to do with this anymore. They fight for about 2 minutes yelling like freaking madmen in front of my house (I have no idea how the cops weren't called by my neighbors. This is a quiet neighborhood).
5:00 AM : Da pulls back at my place. We’ve locked the whole thing down and tell him he won’t come in. He cries in front of the door for about 30 minutes and leaves. I pass out with Lu still chilling in the crib.
I've blown about 600 bucks in one week. Someone stole my fucken Apple Tv Remote, thing is useless without the adaptor. The place is a total mess and took me 5 hours straight to clean. Walls have been punched in, but what the hell.
Monday 2 (Yesterday) : I think I’m out of drugs but end up finding about half of the Molly left in my backpocket. A good friend of mine recommends I give it a break and leave it at her place. We agree to seal it down for 2 months, after which I can pick it back up.
I still have a few crystals and about 4 grams of Mush left at my crib. I know I have to leave it untouched as I’ve downed about 30 grams of mushrooms in the last 2 months and Molly 3 times in the last week. I’m glad I was actually able to resist the urge and I’m going to bring the whole thing to my friend’s place for her to seal it down.
TL DR : Wannabe ass white kid thinks he’s a rockstar and abuses his Dad’s confidence by throwing 2 huge parties, first one is a blast, second has his Dad’s stuff blast.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to bjack. I'd like to have your opinions on the blackjack games offered at my casino (Montreal Casino). The main blackjack tables are 8D, hit soft 17 (stand soft 17 on high limits), cant resplit aces, double on 2 cards, 4 hands split max, 3 to 2 bjack, penetration 5.5/8 decks. This is the most common regular blackjack game offered which I personally dont find it that attractive due to the penetration. What do you guys think? Are these rules fair? Should I play somewhere or something else like bjack switch?
Also they dont let you bet higher than the minimum if you werent playing at the start of the shoe and youre only allowed to skip roughtly 1 hand if the dealer is nice.
